Q. Where does water go from our sinks, toilets and bathtubs?

A. Waste water goes into the sanitary sewers and is taken directly to the Metropolitan Wastewater Treatment Plant.  Saint Paul delivers an average of 22 million gallons per day of sewage.  It treats an average of 215 million gallons of wastewater every day from 62 communities.
